What is the allowable deflection limit?

As per IS 456, the final deflection of a beam should not exceed Span/250. Deflection after partition construction should not exceed Span/350 or 20mm, whichever is less.

Long-term deflection is significantly higher than instantaneous deflection due to creep and shrinkage of concrete, typically accounted for using age-dependent modification factors.
